Week 14 - February 4, 2021

This week in Seekers we continued our unit on the Torah. 

In Te'enim with Rabbi Nadia, they watched a talk show called "Baruch Atah, Dysfunctional Families," where God interviews Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob and Esau.  God asked Esau: "Would you steal Jacob’s Hanukkah presents?" To which Esau answered: "I’d steal his Hanukkah presents as fast as he stole my birthright!" 

In Anavim with Stephanie, we studied parshat Yitro. One Anavim student said, "It's fine to complain but it's better to complain when you're also offering a solution to what you're complaining about." Another student said, "If you just focus on what you already gave, you can find happiness in that." 

In Tamarim with Batya, we learned about Abraham and Sarah and made little puppets. One student said, "Abraham and Sarah were such a gracious couple!!"
